Album artwork in itunes help?

Question

For a lot of my songs on itunes I went and saved the pic in my pictures folder on my computer and uploaded it myself. I was wondering if I delete the pictures off of my computer, will itunes be unable to find them again?

itunes will not lose the picture, it automatically encrypts the image as part of the song
