Alcohol....help?

I know these are probably stupid but if beer is cold and then they get room temperature then you cool them again will they go bad or taste different? Also what is something good to put vodka or any other alcohol substance into besides the regular bottle. I've had it in water bottles and it seems to taste different than before.

  1. Light, time, and high temperatures are the enemies of beer.  All of them can affect the taste of beer.

  2. I guess it would depend on how long the beer was at room temperature before being put back into a fridge. If it's cold, then warm, then cold too many times, it will be nasty.... or so I'm told. I think beer is nasty any way, so I wouldn't know the difference. lol

I usually don't transport vodka or other spirits in anything other than the original bottle(s). Then again, I'm well over the legal age, so no one would question me about why I've got a bottle of vodka or rum or whatever.... unless I was trying to sneak it into a ball game or concert.

  3. Yes to the beer question.

    and

I've never had trouble with taste when using a water bottle before but maybe switch to a flask or just go ahead and mix it into a coke bottle or whatever you plan on mixing it with.

  4. if the beer isnt opened it will be fine after you cool them down after being in room temp.

As for vodca, I guess you dont look for "put it en glass" as an answer... I would just keep it in the original bottle or a metal bottle.

    Cheers!
