Alex Rodrigez for Jose Reyes?

I have Mark Teixeria, Bobby Abreu, Nick Markakis, and Mark Reynolds for HR. Should I do this, but take out Tim for Cordero because I only have Tim and Cole Hamels as reliable Aces. (John Danks, Armando Galarraga, Greg Smith; Chris Young on the DL as well).

Alex may have a tough time concentrating with all the off field problems..sound good to you to get Reyes and a CL would I win the trade.?

the side getting arod and lincecum is getting the better end.

look on the waivers man, a decent closer is easy to find. where else can you add a pitcher like lincecum?

and fyi abreu has 10 homers, not really that much of a power hitter.

i don't think arod will be that distracted. why would he slack off his job just because of what's going on off the field. arod is much better than jose reyes. i say keep your team the way it is.

No way, Arod is emotionless, it will not effect him THAT much. But if you can add a good closer to the trade and only give up Arod then i would consider it.

I think you're getting the worse end of the deal.

Although Reyes produces far more stolen bases than A-Rod, which seems to be what you need, Lincecum is way too valuable to trade away.  Even outside of the waiver wires, there are plenty of excellent closers that could be obtained for a far less price than Tim.

Also keep in mind that A-Rod is still one of the premier players in the game despite any slump, and having him locks up several fantasy categories, while the stolen bases Reyes provides only contribute to one.  His lead in runs doesn't outweigh the bonus that comes with A-Rod's HRs and RBIs.

But do what you gotta do, haha.
