Aliens question?

Question

If aliens really do exsist, how come they only seem to harrass farmers and not our scientists as scientists would have more info than a typical farmer?

I do not believe in aliens but thought it was an interesting question.

It's because they dont have enough food souce and they are taking samples from our farms. After they took it , they sign their names on the crops to tell human that they took our food.

yeah! how come anyway? well,i guess if i were born an alien ,then i will be visiting the planet earth,i'll land my UFO on the wide earth's surface(most commonly on the farm. ) how would  i know who's got the infos i want?. so maybe.. the first thing i could find it interesting is the farmer. (there will be no scientist working in the farm where i landed on anyway?!!!!!!)

or how would i know that scientists have much informations than farmers?? im a stranger as an alien. besides, i could harass cows and chickens instead of farmers because of having no knowledge about it.

Perhaps its merely down to logistics.  Farmers tend to live out in the countryside away from built up areas so theres plenty of space to park the spaceship,  Scientist however work in labs that our most likely to be in cities and we all know how bad parking can be in cities!

How come they don't descend and create "crop circles" on the Prune Park College playing fields?  We need something interesting in the unmown grass during the long vacation, when Mr. Gringe the janitor is on leave.

What are their motivations?

They would be truly alien after all, we could not begin to understand an alien mind.  Why cereal crops have to be indented with symbols is beyond me.

Dah! Because scientists would want to dissect them, and there's more room out in the country side to land a space craft. Also, farmers daughters are better looking then scientists daughters :-)
