The biggest problem with organic cotton is that it has to be hand picked.

I did this as a child and it is not the easiest thing to do.

60 years ago all cotton was picked by hand.

LOL.

Basically everything in our environment is a chemical, even dihydrogen monoxide (and cotton as well regardless of whether it is 'organic' or not, whatever you think that word means today (why can't people just accept the scientific definition which is actually at least somewhat consistent?)).
