All these "doom day" theory?

Ok there is all these theories about when the world will "really"

end, such as 2012 2029 2036 etc...

They make sense to a point, but all the previous prediction also did make point to a degree. Back in the 1700's and 1800's. If they had our technology couldn't they also prove there theories like they prove theories now these days?

But my question is, if THAT is gonna happen, why doesn't our government instead pay trillion's of dollars on a war, (which is obviously staged for more taxes, but not the point) not use a defensive tactic to defend us from these theories? If it gonna really happen why not? I smell baloney do you guys as well?

  1. Simply put...you cannot take any of these doomsday theory's seriously.  Anything from our past...right up til the present.

No one can predict anything..unless it's based on actual scientific fact...and even then...those scientific predictions...will not necessarily be accurate.

If anyone is predicting anything from the standpoint of ...some voice told them..or some other.. "out there" source...then...it's nothing but laughable.

  2. the reason why tons of people are asking this is because they are scared!

  4. "Against Stupidity, the Gods Themselves Contend in Vain", how could a mere government succeed?

Just look at the 2012ers. They can't even type "2012" in Yahoo's search field. Should the government send some "the world won't end" leaflet to every citizen? How many would ignore it, don't believe it, etc

  5. Ok i don't understand, you want to stop spending money on war and use that money to teach everyone to be new age hippy flower children so we can expand our minds and not have to worry about "Doomsday" theories?

  6. cuz the actual science says death by asteriod is not very likely, possible, but not likely. couple that with the fact that the government is taking millions of dollars from NASA and putting it into welfare programs, i don't think the asteroids are a high priority.
