Alleppey Kumarkom?

we are planning to visit alleppey and kumarakom from bangalore. we would like to travel by train, can someone tell the best route/mode .. from my research so far..i've found out

1 > bangalore to alleppy : direct train is available .

2 > alleppey to kumarakom : how to travel ?

3 > kumarakom to bangalore : do we have trains for this ? or what is the best possible option. Is it a good idea to to go to kottayam from kumarakom and take a train from there ? if so then how can I go from kumarakom to kottayam ? How long will it take?

You can travel from Allepy to Kumarkom by bus.  If you do not get direct bus from Allepy to Kumarkom, you can take the bus from Allepy to Kottayam.  Kumarakom is 16 miles away from Kottayam and you can get plenty of buses from kottayam to Kumarkom

You can plan your return journey from Kottayam.
