Allergic to Blood Worms?

Is anyone out there allergic to blood worms? Everytime I touch them to feed my fish I have a reaction. I wash my hands good, but if I touch any where near my eyes they will swell up. I know they aren't really worms but larva.

It is true that some people have allergies to bloodworms. This is because they are midge larvae.

Yeah.  bunch of people are allergic.

Many people are allergic.

However you can still feed them to your fish.. just wash your hands after every feeding (very very well) or wear gloves or something ;)
