help please, just yesterday, alot of sites wouldnt work, like myspace, yahoo, keepvid, media-convert, photobucket, and a lot of others. it seems like half the sites work, and half dont. facebook and stuff works. you can get to google, but when u press search, nothing happens. However, u can press im feeling lucky and it will take u to the first one, which is wierd. i already did a total system scan with norton, and i deleted all the risky files, and now it still wont work. its not the browser, because its the same on all of them. in the lower left it says "waiting on "www.myspace.com" or something like that. i opened the command prompt and typed in netstat -a, anbd a bunch of stuff popped up. something ive never seen before too, some IP number followed by static.reverse.ltdomains.com:http, and i saw some problems with some static thing before.. so please help, i have no idea how to fix it! i even tried a system restore to before, and it didnt work, so i dunno what the deal is

  1. You can verify a site at www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com to know if the site is having problems.

You can disable the popups thru your Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Services>Messenger>General Tab>Change from Automatic to Disabled.  Click ok.  No more popups.

  2. Dude, your computer IS infected.  Guaranteed.

FIRSTLY, DO NOT BUY THE PRODUCT THEY TRY TO SELL YOU! IT IS SCAM.

Is that phony alert or warning or popups, trying to sell you one of these useless products that are listed here?:

If your answer is "Yes" then keep on reading...

A specialised removal tool is usually needed to remove the malware (Smitfraud or Vundo) that is causing your problem. Almost all "general purpose","all-in one" spyware and virus removal programs such as Adaware 2007, Norton, AVG, or Spybot S & D cannot remove Smitfraud or Vundo.

A good removal tool that specialises in removing these 2 types of infections is RogueRemover Free:

After running RogueRemover, to clean-up any remaining infection traces, scan for trojans,

and spyware etc and remove (free online scan, no downloaded program) with Ewido Online Scanner ( now known as AVG Anti-Spyware). This is NOT the same as AVG Anti-Virus.
