Altering a Greyhound Bus Ticket?

Question

I recently bought a Greyhound e-ticket, but for the wrong date.

It's non-refundable/changeable, so an option would to be another ticket... costing more money while the other one still goes to waste.

Does anyone know if they actually scan you're tickets/call in your confirmation numbers?

I know they take down your information for cross border travel, but is that it?

I feel iffy about doing this, but if they refuse to change the ticket... I feel like its the best option.

If I was you I would contact Greyhound and let them know an error occured in the proccess of purchasing your ticket on line. You can tell them that for some reason it was sent for the wrong date. If they will not correct it then you can always pay a $15 change of date fee. Take a look at the greyhound website for more infomation.
