  2. I was about to answer this but T Bars answer is spot on. So I'll just take the 2 points. Good luck and keep on practising

  3. I hope that you won;t mind scrapping the neck or that the guitar that you are tuning is not a good one.

This always damags the inside of the neck....their are shims placed at different places on the truss rod. They will drop out of their place if you detune for a long time.

    In any case.....

    E-

G- raise the A one tone or 2 frets

    D

    G-

E-lower one tone or 2 frets

D- lower one tone or 2 frets

    The first one

G-raise one tone or 2 fret

    A-

B- raise 2 tone or 4 frets and the string will break

    D

E- lower one tone or 2 frets

    G-lower 1 1/2 tone or 3 frets

    The middle

    G - lower 1 1/2 tone or 3 frets

    G  - raise 1 tone or 2 fret

    D

    D - raise 2 1/2 tone...string will break

    D# - lower 2 tones or 4 frets

    D# - raise 1/2 tone
