Am I weird!?

Question

Idk just sometimes I'd rather be by myself! Just doing whatever, drawing, writing, painting, excersing, listening to music. Also I love to work and make money. I'm very introverted and independant. My boyfriend is the same way. Don't get me wrong, I have tight friends and like to go out. Just not as much as the average person. Can anyone relate?

Absolutely!  But make yourself go out every once in awhile as you mentioned you do now.  You don't want everyone to think you are not interested in them or going out, that's how the invitations start to stop.  Then one day you realize it's been years since you got an invite to go out.  Not fun.

ME... i would rather be at home in a clean house reading my book next to my fiance' than out partying and stuff.

To me its relaxing and fulfiling after a busy day.

yes. i am almost 22 and all my friends are going out to the bars but i'd rather just sit in my apartment by myself

You are fortunate in that you 'enjoy your own company'

    Many people rely on others for their entertainment and

    don't know what to do with themselves by themselves.

        Of course you are weird if mediocrity is the norm!

Most very creative people like to keep to themselves, simply because they don't need someone else to entertain them.  There is nothing wrong with you.  All of us need to socialize some, but don't get caught in the "gotta do like everyone else does" craze.  As long as you aren't hurting yourself or someone else,  keep doing what you are doing.  If the rest of the world doesn't like it, s***w them!  Good luck.

As I got older I found that most of my friends are just users to keep them company and entertained.  So my best friend is myself.  I don't mind being a loner I meet new and exciting adventures too when I am alone
