  1. heck no if you are good and you really like the sport you should take it as far as you want there are many girls and even guys who fugure skate that are pld like pros there in ther 20s or 30s

  2. no I know ppl who started at 25. It is sooooo fun! I started at 10 or 11 and that is not to late!

  3. No bodies too old, well if you were like 18 or something, I guess that be abit old, but the question is, will you work hard to get it. Look at Johnny Weir, he started skating at 12, taught himself an axel, and in two year landed triple axel, and now look at him.

  4. your definetly not too old. i mean there are even skaters who are 50 learning the axel. so your not too old. and if you want to go far like the olympics then go for it. but for now while your still thinking about if you should start skating just keep searching the internet and watch some skating videos to help you out. cuz either reading or watching about figure skating really helps. i've wanted to skate since i was about ten and now im 13 and i never knew what skating was. i just kept searching about it on the internet and i found out about everything like the jumps and the spins. and i always ask skating questions here and alot of them told me i wont make the olympics and i just dont listen to them anymore.im 13 and i would like to compete in the olympics as well. i hope to see you in 2014 or 2018 winter olympics. your not too old ....good luck

  5. You're never too old your only 14 do what you love to do and dont let anyone else tell you otherwise live your life you have alot of it left

  6. no

  7. Give it all you got and see. People start later than others in all kinds of things and are successful. It's a matter of what you put into it. I know a guy who starting playing golf his junior year in high school and got a half-scholorshi[ in golf for college.

There are many other succes stories, now you can get one too.

  8. You're never too old!!  :)  You can still compete at 14.....and 15.....and 20......and 40.....and 80, if you want.  Check around for basic skills competitions.  They're growing in popularity here and they're for skaters who are beginners in group lessons to have a chance at the thrill of competition.  Also when you get older, look into adult skating.  Skate til your heart's content.....and have fun!

  9. I agree.  When I first saw the question, I thought you might be older........but to read that you're only 14!

You have your whole life ahead of you.  You can do anything you like!!!

  10. u can compete at any level. i mean no offense ur probably not going to the Olympics but u can still go pretty far!

  11. nope

  12. NOPE!!!!

Don't kid yourself.  You are not too old.  I am 22 yrs old and I am still testing.  I sometimes test wih kids who are half my age.  At first, I thought it would be too embarassing but its really not.  If you put the effort into it, you will get mre out of your lessons.  My friend's mom is 48 and she just started taking lessons and loves it.

As long as you like it, you will never feel too old.

  13. oh no you are not to old I am 15 and I still skate I don't like it that much but I still skate. If you like it then you should keep doing it. I was never that good at it but I am sure you are really good.

    Good Luck :)

  14. Your never too old to learn to ice skating

even if your 14 im 13 and i skate and its extremely fun!

  15. i can't really see how you are

  16. You probably won't be the next Olympic Skater, but you can certainly do "smaller" competitions, and still have fun skating so go for it and have fun.

  17. you're never too old for something you love to do=]

  18. you are never to old! keep going if it is something you love!
