Question:

Ambidextrous Writing?

It takes me about 2 weeks to completely switch my dominant writing hand from right to left (I was born lefty and my left hand produces better looking writing). Problem is without a left handed pen (they are expensive and I lose pens big time!), truning my wrist clockwize to write with my left hurts. Switching back (left - right) is immidiate.

So ... I was wondering if anybody can write simultaniously with both hands, two separate letters / numbers at once (any combonation). With certain letter combonations / double letters / numbers it's easy, but can anybody write random 2 letter/number combos naturally?

Is this even a learnable skill?

  1. Ambidexterity is something that can be learned but it will take a lot of practice and can be as long years before you can really get the hang of it.

The famous Leonardo da Vinci is actually someone who can write in one hand and draw with the other at the same time.

       Believe it or not!

  2. Leonardo DaVinci was said to have been able to write with both hands simultaneously in two languages.

  3. so you have no supernatural powers like Da Vinci did, huh?

hmm.. then that's gonna be tough for you, but i say.. GO FOR IT, boy! (guy? man?dude?--> you're male ya?  *sorry forgot your name*) . and remember (ya, the cliche) Practice Makes Perfect :D

  4. I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous ... ????

  5. You have an incredible skill if you can write with either hand.

    Well done !
