If you are originally a Canadian citizen and interesting in studying law at an American school, is the degree transferrable to practice in Ontario? Universities I'm considering are Berkeley or NYU.

Thanks,

Dave

  1. it depends on the bar rules of canada.  i should think so esp fr berkeley / nyu.  u still hv to sit for bar exams etc.  its becoming universal for law graduates to practice in other countries.  i know of americans practising in china!
