American metric system?

its the dumbest thing I've ever heard USA is the only country in the world that doesn't use metric system

r Americans trying to start a trend maybe getting other countries to try it cause its cool like f-n ing middle school!!

Why dont they use it why make a new system its not any better than the metric system ??
