  1. Absolutely and utterly heart broken...

Those guys have worked so god d**n hard, sailed fantastically but had more bad luck go there way than the swiss did!

There was more passion from the Team NZ guys, and to see the last seconds of the final race played over and over again, both on tv and radio just makes me want to cry!!

As you can tell, I never ever gave up hope that "we'd bring it home!"

  2. Absolutely gutted!!  But the kiwis made it the most exciting America's Cup regatta ever (and I'm talking about the kiwis on all the other boats as well)!!  They can hold their heads up!!  Especially the kiwis from Team NZ!!

  3. totally crushed, i was rooting for them! oh well it was one heck of a challenge tho, and alinghi's skipper is a kiwi nway lol. i heard there's gonna be a new class rule in the nxt Cup and faster boats will be used so i'm really looking forward to that. i just hope the event gets better tv coverage cuz i had to make do with highlights here in my part of the world. not enough obviously lol...hope valencia again wins venue, they did pretty well imo.

  4. Not too downhearted, the Kiwis were always up against bankrolls too fat to compete with, but still they showed the world that we are the strongest sailing nation around. I say this because of the influence Kiwi sailors had on all syndicates that were competing. Just look at Alinghi, with Brad Butterworth as skipper. Thats just like Dan Carter signing for the wallabies against his own All Blacks! All the same, what a spectacular finals series it was, just what yachting's profile needed... They made all Kiwi's proud
