Amir Akrout recovers from gunshot wound
Club Africain's star striker Amir Akrout became a part of the unrest in Tunisia after he was shot. The striker was having dinner in his friend's house in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Tunisia-c3025.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Amir-Akrout-c5436 was present in the former Tunisian player, Mohammed Bouddabous’s house, who is currently playing for Olympique Beja and lives in Bardo.
According to reports, Amir Akrout was inside the house and heard screams outside. After staying inside for a while, both of them decided to go outside and see what was wrong.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Club-Africain-c38815 centre forward saw the armed forces having a fight with the Tunisian President, Zine Abidine Ben Ali's, forces. Out of curiosity, Amir Akrout went to the balcony to get a clearer view but was shot in his chest.
The bullet pierced through his chest right above his heart. However, the former Stade Tunisian player managed to survive.
Currently, he is in a stable condition after going through an operation on Saturday. The friend of Amir Akrout, the former Olympiq Berja star, Mohamed Bouddabous, grieved at the happenings and after he saw his friend in a stable position, he decided to speak
to the press about the incident.
Mohamed Bouddabous said that he was "thankful" to the doctors, who saved his friend's life. He said that Amir Akrout is getting better as the days pass by and he was happy about the fact that Akrout spoke to him normally on Wednesday.
He then added words to Amir Akrout's current condition and said that he is going to be visited by the doctors on Thursday. He said:
 "If his doctor gives him authorization then he’ll be out either tomorrow or the next day".
He said that he has been attending him since the day this incident happened and will be with him to help him out whenever he needs him.
Mohammed Bouddabous then told the press how the incident actually happened. He said that, while they were busy telling the militants to separate themselves from the crowd and told them to do there "business" elsewhere, one of the army men was busy shooting
in the air to get rid of the crowd.
However, the army man did not have control of his weapon and he shot his friend while firing randomly.
Amir Akrout’s story further highlights the plight of the North African country and reflects what the people there are going through.
