  1. If your drive unit has four RCA connections (check the back part of your unit), that is, front and rear lines, you may use the front lines for your sony xplod speakers using your 1200 amps and the rear lines for your subs by way of your 1300 amps.

As a rule, do not use a power amp with a higher watts than the total watts of your connected speakers combine.

However, using direct power amplification do not necessarily produce quality sounds. You need to use sound filters, this is were the crossovers comes in.

For better quality sound, use a 3-way active crossover, by connecting both the front and rear lines on it, then on the output side, you may connect your midrange using your 1200 watts amp to your sony xplod speakers and the subs using your 1300 watts amps.

If still have some money to spend, you may now use passive crossovers for a much enhanced quality sound.

    happy listening....

  2. you did good, what you chose will work. your 2 channel amp is 50 watts over powering your 4 speakers which isnt bad just becarfull with the gain so you dont blow them. and the same thing goes for the amp for your subs. its a little over powering so be carefull with your gain. try to keep it as low as you can.

  3. Can you give any more information?  What are these speakers?  Regular speakers, subs?  Where are they mounted if not subs?  What impedance are the speakers?  What are the specs of the amplifier?  What are your stereo goals?  etc?
