Referee Wayne Barnes in the New Zealand/France World Cup Semi Final, for....

* Sin-binning Luke McAllister for... um.... err... what??? Oh yeah - BEING IN THE FIELD OF PLAY. (Special mention to the touch judges for not picking up on this)

* Allowing the French to be offside how many times?? (Thumbs up to the touch judges for this one too)

* Awarding the French a try after an obvious forward pass!! (Two thumbs up to the touch judges for this one too!!)

  1. i say we admit that we lost the game. we dont need to be sour about, but we dont need to be happy about it either. if waynes was more consistant in his refereeing then i wouldnt be as upset, but he wasnt. its not the first time its happened to us and wont be the last. the all blacks probably feel s**+te and they should but they are our all blacks and got to get their game together cause i want to see the world cup in our hands!!! and the bledisloe in otagos!!!

  2. Have a nice flight back.........great having you guys here......... better luck next time........... you played real well.......... the French were just lucky,oh YES, the ref was WELL out of order etc etc etc ............Au revoir!

  3. Oh yes, and I suppose the ref stopped NZ scoring more tries.

No excuses, be a man and admit we were beaten.

Lets look forward to 2011 on home turf!

  4. You know I agree that Wayne Barnes did not ref that match well. He made very big mistakes that seemed to favour the French. BUT I still think that even though he made those mistakes the All Blacks still should have won the match the main reason being that the All Blacks never should have surrendered a lead of 13 points with 41 minutes to go.

I from New Zealand and I am gutted that we lost but you have to give credit to the French. They played the best defence I have seen in a while and the likes of Sivivatu and Rokocoko could not split it.

Sure if it was a different ref we probably had a better chance to win but the fact is that we still should of won that match even with one of the worst performances of reffing I have seen in a while.
