  1. before today i would of said no he made the wrong cjoice , but today he was excellent..

  2. He recognised that Union is the 'real' rugby code...good on him.

  3. Given what a prodigy he was as a young bloke, I feel he was already past his best when he switched.  Many have switched, Robinson has been notably successful, but more have not.  Farrell has been plagued by injury, plus the position he plays has not allowed him enough room.  To me he still looks like a loose forward.  He has good hands and distribution but lacks the pace to make the breaks from centre.  So, if he were fit enough to play, I would say he would have done better to stay with Wigan.  But I used to follow Wigan and Bath, and neither are the sides they were.

  4. He's way to slow to be a Centre, he's simply playing in the wrong position. Could he not switch and become a forward instead?

  5. No he's too old to make the switch,if he was a winger or full back it would have been easier for him cos they're very similar positions in both codes but he's in no way a top international centre. The thing is he was offered so much money he couldn't turn it down so you can't blame him the R.F.U. made a bad choice.

  6. I think that he should have stayed in league as well.

But he hasnt had a full season to play as he has been injured quite a lot of the time since his switch.
