Anger issues. any suggestions?

school is stressing me out and my dad keeps getting on my case about it and i just get so angry. i tell him im trying but he just expects too much and i get so mad at him. he keeps nagging me and tells me its because he cares but i keep telling him i know and i will try and he doesnt believe me on anything. he just keeps telling me and yells at me sometimes and i end up getting REALLY mad and i wanted to fight him and my dad wanted to call the cops and its all because i cant control my anger. i dont need suggestions on telling him how i feel about his constant nagging, just on how to control my anger. theres just so much going on in my life between school, home, family, people at school and in the world and it just all started to build up today and i feel as if im going to fail in life if i go on like this because i know he wont care if im out on the streets cus hes let me leave before. please help me.

Well, man...this is a hard one. One thing I think u need to know is that it's His problem, not yours. He's the one who's unhappy w/wat ur doin or not doin. The other thing, and I know it sounds trite, but "This too shall pass", and sometimes u gotta just play the game til u get on ur own. Try to let it be his problem (cause it is) and keep on goin....play along, remember it's HIS problem, not yours....succeed and get the **** out.

I understand how u feel my mom use to be the same, and i never understood why until she was gone,my mom just past away last November and i was still in school I made it a point to keep my grades up for her

The world and its issues can stress you, what i use to do when my mom used to come at me with all that bull about school, I used to just say okay and go to my room turn the music up and mellow out.

You can't let this stuff get to you, just try to tune them out until you can balance out those things in life
