Okay. I've always loved anime, and I have basically passed the age where it would be considered a phase of childhood.

So I was just curious, how old are you other anime watchers?

Lol, anime watchers (Otaku is the correct name) usually start in elementary-middle school and watch for the rest of their lives, but most being in their teens or early adulthood (I'm 14 Got my own age wrong, christ i'm tired)

I'm 14 and I love it! Hahahaha, I shall still love it after high school too but It'll probably be a smaller and smaller part of my life as I get older. [Unless it is true and the world ends at 2012] My sister is 17, a senior and still enjoys anime/manga.

I'm a 26 year old social studies teacher and I love anime.  I have a friend who is a 30 year old social studies teacher who loves anime.  And two other friends who are 22 and are a politcal science major, and criminal justice major respectively.  So anime really is for all ages...except for the yugioh, pokemon, anything mass marketed towards kids stuff

Okay I'm 18 and I watch anime (though not the c**p I;m getting on my tv today....) and I stil watch anime. Allthough the kind I watch ARE directed towards 16 and up.

anime is cool for any ages really. they are like cartoons for older people really. spongebob and cartoons are aimed toward kids like 5-12 or 10

but naruto, ouran high schoo, inuyasha, and other anime have a more mature theme and more violence. the anime people face way different kinds of problems than the people do in cartoons.

but still... even if spongebob is for 5 years olds i still watch it and I'm 13.

no matter what ages a show is AIMED for.. you still can't put an age on good TV

I am 24, my wife and I watch anime all the time. There is not a limit to how old you have to be. If you like it, then watch it.

I am 17 years old and this is what's great about anime

unlike cartoons which are DIRECTED towards children (like spongebob) anime are shows that are for all ages but mostly directed to teenagers and older

I japan, anime is a culture. It is embedded in many people as their culture. Even adults like 40 and over watch and love anime.

I am not sure where u live but just if u live around a culture where people think anime is for kids, then they got an entirely wrong perspective. Anime is like a live drama, but because it is anime imagination of all kinds are able to enter and make appearance in the shows.

I'm just guessing you are not so comfortable being around your friends or whatever and tell them you watch anime?

THERE IN NO AGE WHERE YOU PASS AND HAVE TO STOP WATCHING ANIME!!! XD
