Question:

Annoying New Neighbors?

by  |  earlier

0 LIKES UnLike

My family and I just bought a house in a new neighborhood.

Almost everyday I have 2 little kids ringing our door bell for no reason. When I open the door they just stand there frozen and not doing anything.

They do it everyday and it gets annoying.

What should I do? Just let it pass? What do you think?

Thanks! :)

  1. DUDE i have the same problem!!!!!!!!!!!! i just moved to a new neighborhood also and these little children are annoying the h**l outta me! the always sit in the lawn and mess around our yard and plants and stuff and then they wipe c**p all over our cars or goes int our backyard without permission! What i did was tell them to never come to our house again lol i know it was mean but after that, they always run away from me when i open the door. My dad also wen't to their house and spoke with the parents about the situation and the people now hate us but i don't give a c**p, they started it! don't let it pass, tell the kids to knock it off! trust me, it works!

  2. speak to their parents, tell them they kids are being annoying.

  3. No, don't let it pass.  Ask the kids their names.  If they won't answer, follow them home and talk to their parent.

"Your children are very curious.  They come to ring my bell every day.  You must be wondering where they are."  Then introduce yourself.  Perhaps mom or dad will tell the kids to stop right then and there.

  4. haha i know the way you feel dont worry it will be overbefore you know it!! :-)just be pateint and ingnore it

  5. Dress up as an ugly old witch & tell them, "you were just looking for 2

fine specimens to put in your hot, boiling, pot of soup & cook them for supper tonight"!

  6. Practice makes perfect. Just keep jogging and doing the exerrcise and you will become fit in no time.

  7. Tell them to stop it.  If they're old enough to reach the doorbell then they're old enough to know what stop it means.

  8. It sounds like they are in need of some patience.  They may be curious about you and yyour family or they may not get the attention at home.  Talk to them, form a little relationship with them and then gently let them know that sometimes you are really busy annd dont have time to be with them. Then let them know when its not a good time.  if it continues to be bothersome, you could talk with the parents, but be careful in the approach--don't get them angry at you.  You would be miserable then.

  9. get the cops! or chase them away!

  10. Bloody Jack and ASailor have got the right idea. No need to add more, just want to reconfirm what they wrote.

  11. just dont answer the door, or ignore.

  12. don't answer the door.

  13. Find one of those signs that they put on s*x offender houses and stick it on your lawn.  No kids will come anywhere near you, or anyone else.
