Another Ferret Question ?

I am looking to increase the size of my 2 female ferrets hutch

i would have liked to get an avairy and put it on the side so they have a nice big run where i can put tubes and everything else in there but they are wayyyyyyy toooooo expensive :(

could any one tell me if it would be worth making one and if i could and how i would do it

also i have looked at runs but again tooo expensive

all i want is the best for my ferrets :) i would like the size to be about 5ft 4ft :)

As i said in your other question building an avairy is more expensive then buying a second hand one. Brand new ones are more expensive then building one. You were going to proof the backyard.

I would advise not using chicken wire as it is very flimsy and it is possible that they can chew through it. The cheapest (may not be the safest - escape wise) would be to get a roll of wire sheet and use garden stakes to peg out a square, then use some to cover the top.

I have been searching online and havent come across any plans yet.
