Another Ipod Transfer question..?

I have a brandnew iMac computer. My old computer has all my songs on it that I used with my ipod. If I plug my ipod into the new computer, what will happen to all the current songs on my ipod? Will they disappear or should I copy all the music to a cd from the old computer and put them on the new one to save the songs?

If you do need to plug your i-pod into your new computer make sure i-tunes is not set to automatically sync.

But yes, you will need to transfer all your songs from your old computer.  I reccoment using an external hard drive to store your music and transfer.  Its more managable than a cd.
