I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out what I need to do in order to sketch the graph of this equation:

y=x^3 - 6x^2 + 9x

If you can please guide me through it, I'd greatly appreciate it.

  1. x^3 is the leading term and the coefficient is 1, which is positive. So left should be pointing down and right should be pointing up.

    Plug 0 into x. you got y = 0. this is y-intercept.

    So I got you started with sketching equations.
