Ok i still can't decide between the Toyota Corolla: slower, fuel effiecent, safe, cheap, not so fun. The Honda Civic: safe, reliable, fun, cheap. The Mini Cooper: Very Fun, not so safe, expensive, cool, fuel effiecent. or the Ford focus: cheap, not as good as euro version, fun, sleek looking, not as reliable. Please help

  1. My family has a 04' 1.3L corrolla, its very nice, safe, fast when you want it to be...but I wouldn't suggest the newer model as its ALOT more expensive.

Honda Civic is on top, has all the pros but if you care about your apearance and originality...nearly every teen has one..also they are good to tune + modify if your into that..

Mini Cooper is what I would choose, because I 'KNOW' I am a safe driver, (although 17) and I won't be needing that safety feature. But its ALOT of fun to drive, looks amazing, and has 2 doors...and there is NO space back there. So think about people who you might want to take with you.

I don't know much about the focus, although alot of other posters say it is a good car, you need to check that out.

Mini Cooper Vs Civic (These are the latest models im talking about)

  2. Depends on where you live, if you are somewhere where it doesnt snow i would rock the Mini Cooper, its small but definitly kicks. and if there is snow where you live i say toyota, toyotas are suprisingly quick

  3. hi. i think if you're a guy thats into sports... you should go for the honda civic. it is very reliable, fun, and economic on gas.  about the Ford focus, even though it can be appealing, Ford is not that reliable. .....

  4. Ok Toyota's are awesome cars they are one of the most reliable cars ever made. They are not that slow, but it depends on what engine you have in it. The Honda Civic is a very good car, it is pretty much everthing you say in your post. I have a few friends with Honda's and they love them to death. The Mini Cooper is a sweet ride, it has the go-cart feeling to it when you are driving. I don't know where you are getting the not so safe thing. The new Mini has at least a 4 star crash rating in every perspective. The Ford Focus is a very cheap car, the interiors are really cheap compared to all the car's you mentioned. They are fun but they aren't very reliable(my dad has one and has put alot of money into it.) They do get pretty good mpg though.

If it were me I would go with the Civic.

  5. Those are all cheap cars except the Mini Cooper hahaha. Focus is a low level Ford, Corolla is a low level Toyota, and the Civic is the second lowest.  Honestly the Mini Cooper is larger than u would think.  I am 6'3 and I fit in a Mini easy, better than all the above mentioned cars. But honestly, look at the resale value and the mantenence value of each car.  The Ford to fix is the cheapest, while the Mini Cooper is the most expensive, BUT the resale on the Mini is higher.  My suggestion, if you live in an area that doesnt get alot of snow, go with the Mini!!  My suggestion as well----spend the $3000 more and get the S model, u will be glad u did!

  6. I'm selling my Corolla 1.6 - they're not that slow! I'd go for that or the Focus.  Both are l lovely to drive, comfortable & reliable. If it's your first car you're likely to prang it (or someone else will).  Plus think about how much you want to spend on fuel & insurance - have you got quotes for all these cars - might help you make up your mind. Out of all if you're wanting to look good too I'd go for the Civic - but check all your other costs first!

  7. Go Ford man!  The Ford Focus is too reliable! Don't dis ma Ford.
