Another important amoxicillin question!?

I got amoxicillin capsules for a urinary tract infection but I totally can't swallow them. So is it ok if I break apart the capsule and just take the powder with some water?

I can't really see why this shouldn't be all right, but I just want to check. (:

Yes, it'll be fine if you open the capsule and just take the powder with water.

You could perhaps request for a suspension or elixir next time you need to take oral medication. This will make it easier for you.
