Another question about oxygen?

Question

what parth does oxygen travel in our body, it goes in through our nose then to our lungs then to our heart and into the blood stream is that right? Can someone explain

John L is absolutely right unless you are a mouth breather!

Thought this question could use a little humor since John did the answer part.

Only thing to add is the part about the red blood cells pick up the oxygen with their hemoglobin in the lungs and release it when they pick up the CO2 from the cells.  CO2 being the product of cellular respiration.

You see the cells get the Oxygen and by cellular processes turn it into energy and Carbon Dioxide, CO2.  The red blood cells gather this and release the Oxygen.  The red blood cells then carry the CO2 to the lungs where they release the CO2 and pick up more Oxygen.

Keep smiling ... It gets clearer the more you study.

I think oxygen present  in the air goes into our lungs through respiration,dissolves into our blood  threre ,purifies it and that purified blood circulates in our body.

John's right again but umm the blood gets puerified in the liver not the heart hans.

Oxygen is breathed in from the nose to our lungs

Our lungs bring the oxygen to the blood vessels which lead to the heart

The heart pumps the oxygen around to the rest of the body which absorbs the oxygen and uses it as a reactant to produce energy.

Blood with much less oxygen then returns to the heart and pumps it back into the lungs to collect more oxygen.
