Antarctica!!!?

Question

Who here would also like to live in Antarctica with penguins?

I live in Melbourne  (Australia) and we have a penguin colony in St. Kilda (only a couple of kilometers from the centre of the city).  Otherwise we can drive about an hour and a half and see thousands of them come ashore every dusk at Phillip Island.  I don't need to go to a freezing inhospitable envirnoment to enjoy the company of penguins. I still would like to visit the Antarctic one day however.

I would love to go visit Antartica----yes, I know that the island is designated for research only and you must be invited to come to the island-----and see the penguins and watch them march.  The documentaries are fantastic, but seeing the real thing would be totally awesome.

you can't live in Antarctica, the only way you can stay there is to be doing some sort of research work.

Also who'd want to live in a place that is dark 24 hours a day for half the year!

No thanks, its cold enough living in New Zealand.  I can always go see penguins at the Zoo.
