what is the best anti-virus/internet security software to buy for a new laptop? (not too pricey as I am a student!)

I would say the best ones to buy are Nod32 or Kaspersky. A free and good antiviurs software is Avast antiviurs. Never ever use AVG or Norton.

Eset Nod32 is the best antivirus you will get. Kaspersky Antivirus is also equally good. But my choice in Nod32. Go and buy you won't regret in your decision.

There is always freeware out there. The best free antivirus i've ever seen is Avast antivirus. For home users its free for life including free updates and free upgrades.
