Awhile ago I had to use antibiotic ointment on a blister.

then i had picked at a pimple and it turned into a scab so i put it on it and it dried it up and healed it real fast.

can i put it on pimples that aren't scabby? or will it clog the pores?

  1. no

  2. Here's something that works really well.  At bedtime, put a dab of Pepsodent toothpaste on the pimple and you'll be amazed how much better it will look the next day.  I got this tip on tv.

  3. I honestly don't know.  People tell me that it's bad for zits to put greasy things on it.  But what makes some zits better is just healing by themselves.  A lot of people just do that.  I've done this lately, and it's worked for me a lot better and faster than just letting it heal by itself.  Now, this is if a zit that is ready to be popped.  If a zit is ready to be popped, then use a sharp object, such as a needle, or something that you've sterilized first.  First, make sure the area is clean and then use a warm compression or something like that to relax and make the skin softer.  And put a needle  or something else sharp to pop the zit.  Squeeze any pus that comes out and use a napkin or something clean to get the pus out of it.  Once you've done that, use hydrogen peroxide on it.  Use a Q-Tip on it, they Hydrogen Peroxide will dry out the zit and the pus.  That helps dry out the stuff, make sure you don't over do it becuase it's bad for your zit to dry it out horribly becuase it will make your zit dry out badly.  Make sure you wash out your zit after every time you use hydrogen peroxide to keep some of the moisture there.  If you use too much, what will happen is your skin will dry out around the zit and eventually will peel off.  Put neosporin on it, becuase it will form a scab, just like you've done before.  Once it's peeled off , the skin underneath will be your normal skin.  And the zit will be gone.  But you have to do it exactly as Ive said so.  And that does work.  But putting neosporin on an open wound, a zit will clog your pores because it's an open wound that's not meant to covered like that.  Because neosporin is meant for scabs and wounds not for zits and because it's greasy, that is what cuases zits, greasiness or oiliness

  4. The best was to get rid of any pimples is to wash your face with a really hot wash cloth then wash with areally cold washcloth. Then put on a litlle moisturizer. Your skin produces oils because it is dry. The oils then clog the pores and you get pimples. try it for a week and you will notice the difference in your skin. Moisturizer at nite and in the morning.

  5. Not sure, but you can apply toothpaste to trouble areas before bed. I've done that, and it works great.
