Any Grand National Tips?

I am good at using online bonuses to make money, see my blog, but I am not good at pciking horses.

My brother in law always manages to pick the winner and he only bets once a year and I want to beat him this year.

Top 4 horses would be nice!

Any ideas ?????

  1. Mon Mome will win the National ...... remember you heard it here first

  2. I usually pinpoint two fancied runners, that will be Simon and Comply or Die, then one that has done well lots of times before thats Hedgehunter and an outsider which this year is Knowhere who is currently on offer at 50-1.  With four places at a quarter of the odds you get £12.50 back for a £1.00 place plus your stake returned on this one

    .

I backed Silver Birch last year and got 33-1 for him and Amberleigh House prior to that.

Its a bit of a lottery though because

some of the good horses get brought down but I think this year the field is very good quality and Aintree are really trying to make the fences easier as none of us want to see horses suffer.

I have to listen on the radio and then when I know that all the horses have come back safely then I watch the replay onTV.

To all the protesters out there, its not only the Grand National where horses fall and get fatally wounded try demonstrating at some of the Point to Point races where you will see some incredibly cruel treatment of some horses and horrific falls.

If you want to make a difference for horses try visiting the ILPH website and join their MAKE A NOISE CAMPAIGN to stop the transporting of live horses abroad in awful conditions to be sold to the catering and petfood industry, now thats worth demonstrating for.

Enjoy the race and lets hope all the horses come home safe and sound.

  3. I've never picked a winner yet, and I've been betting on it 30 years. Time now to forget it, I've wasted too much money on an any horse race.

  4. I'm doing my usual e/w bets but at the moment i'm looking at;

    Comply or die

    Chelsea harbour and Butlers cabin.

    Good luck

  5. McKelvey

    snowy morning

    knowhere

    bewlery berry

  6. Top 3 Timeform rated horses I believe are:

    Cloudy Lane

    Bewleys Berry

    Knowhere

It's worth having a look at Betfair's Timeform racing form page. On the day or perhaps sooner they will produce and publish a 'tissue' - an on paper number-crunched assessment of each horse's real odds chances of winning.

  7. CLOUDY LANE

    BEWLEYS BERRY

    SLIM PICKINGS

  8. think i am going for Slim Pickings, ran well last year coming in third, and has been building up for the nationals all year.

If you are really still undecided, try using a winner predictor, there are a few around, here is one

  9. definitely BUTLERS CABIN.

  10. Back the second favourite each way.

  11. McKelvey has been named for weeks as a steady runner
