Question:

Any Help With A Nightmare..?

ok, so i have this dream that reoccurs almost every single night

there's this thing that sits in the middle of my room facing me.

its body is just like a big black blob that flows and moves constantly. instead of a face, it has a blank white face-shaped mask that is trained on me. i feel like if i move, it will pounce on me and kill me.

the other night, it got worse - it opened its mouth (or where its mouth should be) and i could see down its throat and my sister's face was there inside it. i woke up in a cold sweat.

what do you think of these horrible nightmares?

by the way, i'm only 14 and i saw my 7-year-old sister in there.

p.s. for reference: anyone who knows anime, the thing ever so slightly

resembles the monster from Spirited Away.

thanks x

  1. Watching anime too much lately?

You dream of what you come through in the day.

    its a normal life style

who fears for growing some dam hair on ur dam balls

  2. Dreams like this are usually linked to stress/anxiety.  The feeling that if you move something will pounce on you is related to feeling like you have too much resting on your shoulders in your waking life.  Perhaps seeing your sister inside was a manifestation of your envy that she doesn't have to worry about such responsibility.  I had dreams like this all the time as a teenager.  They can be very disturbing.  They will go away in time, but in the meantime do whatever you can to ease the stress in your life.  Try to find some "quiet time" for yourself every day.  A warm shower and quiet soothing music before bed can help too.

Also you can check out this website which can give you insight into what some things that appear in your dreams mean...

  3. go to www.dreammoods.com, you will find EVERY meaning to every single one of your dreams, its amazing.

  4. Has anyone ever been inapropriate around you? Like a family member or friend? You seem to fear a particular person, and are also worried about your sister.

I would normally say, "seen Scream movie too much" , but every night! Someone is bugging you, like this thing.

  5. The blob is the uncertain future.  At 14, you are starting to realize that life is not all silver and gold, and you have no idea what the future holds for you.  There is a lot of pressure put on kids your age to grow up and become adult, and that is frightening you.  As for your sister, you are simply worrying about her future too, and what it holds for her.  Welcome to adolescence.

  6. first thing to do is calm down.

talk to your mom and explain what the nightmare is

also has something triggered this nightmare?

    such as:

    -stress

    -a scary movie

    -an argument

-is something bothering you in life?

-is it something about your sister?

    all this can help.

basically sort through whats on your mind at the moment and see if one of those things is it.

and before you go to sleep try to think of nice thoughts

maybe look at some photographs of happy times

it may sound babyish but get someone to read you a happy story.

    good luck x

    hope this helped
