Is there ever any mention of a muse in the Catholic Bible?

I'm not saying like were the writers inspired by a muse, but is there a specific passage or section that mentions or discusses muses?

Thanks.

  1. There are angels that bring comfort to the people in the Bible.

    Examples would include:

Gideon before he battled the Midianites

    Mary before she had Jesus

Elizabeth before she had John the Baptist

One could argue that angels can act in the same way as muses.

  2. I doubt it.

The muses are lesser dieties in Greek and Roman Mythology, so by definition they would not show up in monotheistic Christian teachings.

There's a remote chance they might be mentioned by way of a reference to non-Chrstian, non-Hebrew beliefs. But I've never heard of it.
