  1. If you're in need of a travel guide, might I suggest that you take a look at http://www.waterfordwish.info/travel-gui... .

  2. I'm from Waterford and I can assure you it is a beautiful county

    Try this website

    http://www.waterfordtourism.org/

You could also have a look at

    www.upthedeise.com

It's a website run by a Waterford man to promote the county. It's moving sites at the moment but still worth a look.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waterford

This site will give you everything you need to know about Waterford city and county.

After you have explored Waterford city ,be sure to drop into the famous crystal factory just outside the city for a guided tour.

Make your way down the N25 towards Cork and you will see a turn-off for Tramore It is a haven for tourists in the summer, a beautiful sea side town. Plenty of B+B's for you to check into. Onwards then to Dungarvan(my hometown) but en route you will pass the breath-taking mahon falls. There is a tree here known as the magic tree, and if you turn off your engine, your car will continue to move up  a hill. People say its an optical illusion, or magnetism in the ground but us Waterfordonians call it magic! It's not very well sign posted but if you ask any of the locals they will be happy to point you in the right direction.

Wherever your path takes you in the county of  Waterford, I hope you have a great time and get to see all of its magic like I am blessed to do everyday!
