Any good links to civil engineering?

i've been looking into civil engineering degree's for uni. and i think it seems really interesting and i would like to have more of an insight into what it is really like so does anyone know more about civil engineering or has any good website links into companies or general information on civil engineering

Im studying civil engineering at Uni, excellent engineering subject and definetely one you should think hard over.  Civil engineering is in demand in britain, and in need all over the world and the oppotunities that you can get out of it are endless, you dont even have to become a civil engineer at the end of the degree, the skills that you learn doing the degree are sought after by so many different companies the lists go on forever.  

I would look at the institute of civil engineering, this is the british civil engineering site basically, or search big civil engineering companies.  Civil engineering covers such a wide range of, routes that its up to the person what they want to expand in, i.e water works, roads and bridges, buildings, groundworks, oil etc etc.
