Any less expensive alternative to PATANOL???

My eyes are itching really bad, and Patanol works, but it is $80 a bottle......booo

There are no generics that I know of for patanol, but you can get other allergy drops for less.  Over the counter meds such as Naphcon A help to reduce itching, but you must use it up to four times per day.  This isn't efficient if you are a contact lens wearer.  There are some prescriptive alternatives which cost less, but also require more frequent dosing.  Talk to your eye care provider about your predicament.  He/she should be able to help.
