Any pet help please !

i have a cat who is really shy (so much she is scared of birds lol) ! Have you ever taken in a puppy/dog when you had a cat ? is this a good idea ?

  1. Do not click the 1001-answers link, it is a spyware link and will damage your system. This is one of many member names doing this. Please anyone seeing this report it, they have damaged several people's machines already.


  2. at the begining they will not really like eachother, and the cat will be more courious than the dog if the dog is a puppy.

    my dog did not really care about the cat but the cat cared more about the dog.

  3. my cats like that scared of his own shadow.. but a few years ago we decided to get a german sheperd puppy, we kept them apart for a week or so then slowly introduced them to eachother at first the cat would shy away and when the puppy followed he would scratch him, but slowly he started to get used to the dog and the dog got used to him and they started to not be that interested in eachother, we gradually increased the time they spent together and after a few months they were fine.

    now they get on brilliant hardly acknowledge eachother, the cat even brushes againest the dog purring lol..

    it would be fine to add a puppy, obivously at first they will both be very interested with eachother and there maybe a few little scraps.
