  1. a good dog solved my mole problem. i had to fill in where he dug but it was worth it. it didnt seem to cause my dog to dig the yard much either.my uncle used a little metal trap that you stuck in the tunnel to solve his problem, seems like it was a spring trap with something to jab the mole with. interesting contraption anyway. good luck,  Tadpole

  2. My cat takes care of my moles, frogs, mice, and rabbits.

  3. Traps are the most effective way.  Also they do not like dried blood.  A good outdoor cat will take care of a lot of them.

  4. The product we use for moles is Talprid made by Bell labs. It is by far the best mole bait to come along in years.

For gophers we use strychnine grain, applied properly it will get the job done.Use a sharp broom stick to probe around the mound until you find a tunnel, then pour the grain down into the tunnel and cover the hole you made with a piece of paper and dirt. Dont let any dirt fall down on top of the bail.

  5. I ordered traps from www.themoletrap.com.  If you follow the directions, you WILL catch moles.  Good luck!!!
