  2. Well, you know the basic movement of the heel-arch-toe for each foot. That's good. The flowing of the switch is the hardest part, though.

First, try it sitting down. With the weight of your body on the chair, you'll have no problem getting it to flow. Try to get it as smoothly as you can.

Next, it's time to get rid of the chair. You won't get it right the first time, this takes practice. Just keep at it, yeah? Also, use socks on a non-carpeted, semi-glossy floor at first. It'll make the actions a lot easier and less resistant. When you master that, you can then try it using more resistant surfaces.

    Good luck!

  3. Start off with your left foot flat on the floor and lean on the toes your right foot (so it's on tip-toe) then push your left foot back. Switch so your right foot's flat on the floor and go on tip-toe on your left foot, leaning on that to push your right foot back. In order to make it flow, you need to bring up your heel just as the other one touches the ground.

I like Phenominalove's idea of trying it sitting down, this should help bring fluidity as you don't have to worry about balancing at the same time.

    Good luck!
