My road test is tomorrow, and I haven't 100% nailed it. If they make me parallel park, it will be the only thing holding me back from passing. Please help?

  1. GOOOD LUCK !! MINES ON 7TH OCTOBER!!!

Hmmm... make sure you don't go too fast on your clutch, go really really slow and make sure when your moving you check all around not just one mirror, all of them, what i do is once i see the front of the other car I'm parking round, i turn the steering wheel once to the instructor, then pretend I'm on a clock, and move the car til it gets to 2pm then do a quick full lock to me, then once i see the kerb straighten back up, you probably know that already but just in case ;) Hope you pass !! im sooo nervous !!!

  2. Here are two website you can check out. But just keep practicing and you will get the hang of it!!

Goodluck you will be fine try not to be nervous during your test! Make sure you put your seatbelt on before you put the key in the ignition!

  3. This is what I do...

Step one... Pull your car RIGHT NEXT to the car in front of the space you want to back into...

Step two,....  Put her in reverse and move the wheel ALL the way to the right! MAKE SURE YOU ARE GOING VERY SLOW!

Step Three ... once you have your rear end in the space, (the car at a 45 Degree angle) Keep the car going VERY SLOW, and move your hands VERY fast to straighten out the front end (SLOW CAR, FAST HANDS!)

Step four.... Pull the car ahead and park right in the middle!

and ps... Please DONT only use your mirrors to back up like some are suggesting!  The mirrors can aide you, but not do the work for you!

  4. dont hit the other cars

  5. idk what state you live in but in most states they got rid of parallel parking from the test because to many ppl were complaining that the student drivers hit there cars. so u most likely wont have to parallel park.

    good luck tho

  6. The trick to parallel parking is to have your mirrors adjusted properly.

Sit behind the wheel and turn your head either right or left. You should be able to see out the sideview mirror without leaning or moving your body to the side. Adjust the mirrors so that you can see a small portion of the rear of your car for reference. Then just look in those mirrors and believe what you see.

  7. Practice makes perfect. See if a parent will go with you today so you can work on it. Its pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Just make sure before you start in reverse that your mirrors line up with the car your about to park behind.
