Anybody know about bar tending?

can i have a low trimmed up neat beard and still bartend? and is it a good career and is it being effected by the bad economy?

A relative of mine boss moonlights one day of the week as a bartender and he has a beard and mustache. It's possible his bar.club/etc is flexible so you'll have to speak with the place that is hiring.

It is good? Is $2.13 plus tips good? If you get get good tips, I guess it will work out.

It is being affected? Yes, but in a positive way. People don't like spend money but they will socialize so often they end up a places that serve liquor. Other time its to drown their sorrows away.
