Anyone been to ICELAND? (the country)?

Question

Im thinking of going in December or January...If you've been what city did u stay in and what things did u get up to? Im interested in what you can do there for a 4 day break.

I went to reykjavic, and toured around iceland in general.

It is amazin!!!!!

I went to the glaciers, and the geothermal springs (blue lagoon)...

you can swim in them and just relax.

Iceland is a beautiful place... I also saw loadsa geysers, and climbed a few mountain/hills... they r cool.

i was in rekivic (spelt wrong i know) last october nice place they have an outdoor natural heated pool heated by a volcano i think , lots of nice buildings etc night life good only complaint would be very expensive a burger and chips with a beer in a resteraunt is about 25 pounds a beer is about 5-6 pounds a coke 3 pounds so not cheap but i had a good week nonetheless

I stayed in Reykjavik for about 3 nights on my return to London from New York one Christmas. I stayed in a guesthouse called Baldusbra and can recommend this guesthouse. I can recommend the activities and places I visited:

Saw the Northern Lights (did a tour one night but the following night, I saw a better light formation over Reyjavik itself);

Visited Geysir;

Visited Thingvillir.

Visited the Blue Lagoon.
