My boyfriend and i just booked a room here to go in Aug ... I been reading reviews on it and most of them are bad .. we booked a "newly remolded room". Anyone have any info on the hotel and the rooms. i also heard their customer service sucks ... We are 22 and 26 and although we know its for older people thought we'd give it a try .. any ideas on what we should do as well ??

  1. Laughlin is for the retired crowd but I've had a nice time the too.  Try a canoe trip at Jerkwater canoes the canyons are fantastic rental a jet ski Careful the river is busy in August

  2. We've stayed there four or five times in the past 7 or 8 years.  It's actually quite a nice hotel, but is at the southernmost end of Casino Drive (their equivalent of the L.V. Strip), so it's a bit of a walk to the center of the action, which would be about the Colorado Belle.  The hotel is divided into three towers - North (least expensive), which is typically populated by families and contains the arcade -  South (most expensive), which is mostly for the mature crowd - and Center, which has most of the river-view rooms.  If you're booked into the North Tower, try to get into the Center tower even if you have to pay a little extra.  It's in much better condition.  A couple of extra notes: their casino bites big-time, and the buffet is a total gong show.  Aquarius (formerly the Flamingo) has an excellent casino and some great entertainment, and good eating places.
