Hi. I'm from Wisconsin, and usually I don't care about football, but I guess this kinda got under my skin. This guy has made millions of dollars, had tons of loyal fans, went to a superbowl or two, etc etc.. and he needs to keep playing? don't people know when to quit when they are ahead? Your thoughts please :)

  1. I think he should have retired and been quiet about it. I'm sure there are many players who retired and later had the urge to play but didn't make a big soap-opera about it.

But, I kinda hope he goes to Tampa Bay and leads them to a good season, because I like Jon Gruden. (Bucs Coach)

  2. I loved how he played the game, and i'll never forget last year when the Packers were playing the Seahawks and he threw a snowball at Donald Driver.  He plays the game like a kid, which no one does anymore.  He doesnt care about the money, he plays for the love of the game, he always gave the Packers a chance to win, but when he retired the Packers had to move on.

  3. yes he is horrible i cant stand him.carson palmer 4 life

  4. He needed to retire while he is one of the few who can walk away from the game in good health, besides, #4 just won't look right in any other uniform. Even the old pictures of him with the Falcons look weird.

    Cheers!

  5. He can still play at a high level, so I don't think he should retire.

  6. i think if  he wants to keep playing and he can still play at a high level like he did last season , and since he proved it was not about the money and that it's about how he loves to play the game , let him play

  7. everyone in the nation thinks that right now

  8. Yes... he needed to retire as a Packer and end it at that..

  9. warren moon played 17 seasons inthe nfl and 6 years in the canadian football legue all favre did for green bay to close the door on him is sickening not to say favre isnt to some of the blame there is enough blame to go around on this one maybe holgrem seen this comming and ducked out early

  10. Well. It was said that Brett Favre was forced to make a decision by the team when he really didnt know yet.

I also think he should have stayed retired. The packers are trying to move on without him, and that means he shouldnt have got reinstated

  11. he needs to retire because pretty soon he's going to need a walker out on the field.

  12. No I don't think he should retire.  Green Bay pushed him into retirement.  They wanted to move forward with Rodgers but also wanted Brett to retire a Packer.  They rushed him into his decision without giving him the opportunity to think out what he wanted to do.  I place all of the blame on the Packers organization.  Brett is still a great QB and if you watch him play the game he still plays like he's a 24 year old kid.  He loves the game, it's not about the money.  If it were about the money he would have taken the Packers bribe money of $20 million.  The guy just loves to play the game and still wants to play the game.  Give him a break already.  I think people need to stop blaming Favre and start blaming the Packers organization, it's ridiculous.
