Anyone ever been to Bora Bora?

I have always wanted to go to Bora Bora. Has anyone ever been there? Where did you stay? What activities did you do? Ballpark, how much am I looking at for 5 days there. Thanks for any info.

I've been to Bora Bora. There's alot of beautiful over the water bungalows. They're expensive though. Probably cost you at least 500.00USD a night. We stayed in one in Tahiti, and it was 550.00USD a night. When we were in Bora Bora we were on a cruise, so spent 2 nights there, but on the ship.

We went snorkeling with the manta rays and reef sharks. That was fun. Also did a 4x4 tour of the Island and ended up at a bar called Bloody Mary's.

Most of your day will be spent swimming and snorkeling. The water is amazing there. So clear, and the visitbility is unreal.
