  1. yes

  2. My daughter got married at Sandals Negril.  It was just beautiful and oh so easy.  The staff there went above and beyond to make sure her day was perfect.  There are a few rules (like you have to be in Jamaica for 3 days prior to the ceremony) but the wedding coordinator will give you all that info beforehand.  The resort is lovely.  Food, drink, activities all included and fabulous.  It is adults only but, if you have young guests, the Beaches resort is right next door so it no problem.

If you haven't already, check out tripadvisor.com for reviews from others that have been there as well as any other destination you might be interested in.  You'll get lots of info there that should answer some questions for you.  Congratulations to you both.

  4. My daughter got married in Montego Bay this past New Years Eve.

All the hotels will having a wedding package, along with a wedding coordinator.

Requirements that are needed for the marriage certificate are:  certified copies of your passport & birth certificate

    : divorce papers (if divorced)

: Fathers full name, date & place of birth

    : details of your occupation

You must be on the Island a minimum of 24 hours before the ceremony

The info is mailed or faxed to the wedding coordinator and he/she will apply for the marriage certificate on your behalf. It will be at the resort when you arrive.

After the wedding, you get a copy of the marriage certificate. The other goes to the US embassy and gets registered. After it's registered you get another certificate (this one legally binding)

I would highly recommend a wedding in Jamaica. It was so easy and stress free. Everything went off perfectly, and the pictures are so beautiful
