Anyone has an amex card?

Question

I want to get an amex card. I don't want to apply yet because i don't want my score to go down. i just want to know if i will get approve and for what amount. What are your scores and how much were you approved for?

How can you be double minded...you want to apply and you don't want your score to go down....well you know somethings gotta give when the bank pulls your bureau up.. you'd need a fair household income to put on the application... i reckon maybe a $1000 is possible...

I believe your score needs to be 680 and higher, no bankruptcy in the last 7 years and provable income of at least 18,000 per year. This is for the Blue card. Their other cards have different requirements that I'm unsure of. If you would get a Blue card the limits start around $1,000 or higher. My score was 728 and approved for $2,500 so it varies.
